Born in Paris into the Gibson Brothers family, Donna Gibson grew up surrounded by the soul, disco and pop 45s that shaped her childhood. For over twenty years, she has travelled the world in search of vinyl gems, building an eclectic collection that fuels selections that are both discerning and generous. Her sets naturally move between soulful disco, boogie, Italo disco, Afro-synth, zouk and tropical sounds, reflecting her Caribbean roots and her love for music that makes dancefloors come alive. A resident at Bordeaux-based radio station Amplitudes and the creator of the Mizik Bèl party, which she takes across Europe, Donna champions an open and warm approach to DJing: making people dance, sharing emotions, and celebrating the musical cultures that inspire each of her selections.
