Federica Bolognini, aka frieda, is a DJ and vinyl selector from Rome, based in Milan - Italy. Active in Rome’s underground clubbing scene since her teenage years, she spent over a decade working behind the scenes for clubs and collectives, mostly for the historic Goa Club, following PR & Communication and as Event Manager at Ex Dogana. With a background in Art Communication, she has built her career in the live events industry, spanning contemporary art, music, and performing arts. From 2023 to 2025, she was Communications Manager at Polifonic, an events hub and promoter of one of Italy’s leading electronic music festivals. She also writes for a magazine dedicated to art and music, combining her curatorial sensibility with a deep knowledge of sound culture. These years in the engine room of nightlife sharpened her ear, shaping a refined and distinctive taste with an instinctive understanding of the dancefloor. A dedicated vinyl collector since 2015, her selections weave 80s, 90s, and early 2000s sounds, favouring warm, energetic grooves across electro, house, and acid.
