Black Pomade is a Milan-born, New York-based DJ shaped by years in Lisbon’s underground, where he built a reputation for body focused and groove first sets that move between house, disco, breaks, and deep club sounds. Early on he was influenced by the legacy of New York disco and Chicago house, but never got stuck in revival mode. His style is warm, percussive, and instinctive, equally at ease in intimate rooms, smoky basements, and open-air dancefloors. From his Music Box Lisbon residency to gigs across Europe, Asia, and the US, he has played cities including Tokyo, Seoul, Bangkok, Barcelona, Milan, and New York, sharing lineups with artists such as Hunee, Kamma & Masalo, Josey Rebelle, and Nicky Siano. As founder of the vinyl-only Manzo Edits series and the Sudden Logic collective, Black Pomade keeps one foot in the record bag and the other in new club territory, with releases on Last Forever Records, Wilson Records, Stereo Ferment, Youngbloods, and upcoming 12”s on Miditrip Records.
